Man who strangled his wife to death with a belt climbs onto roof to commit suicide!
In an incident that took place in the İnegöl district of Bursa, a man who strangled his 35-year-old wife to death with a belt climbed onto a roof and attempted suicide.
In a 3-story building located in the Orhaniye neighborhood of Bursa's İnegöl district, 40-year-old Hakan B. allegedly began arguing at home with his 35-year-old wife, Özlem B., who was reportedly in the process of divorcing him.
Enraged during the argument, the man strangled his wife to death with a belt. After killing his wife, the man climbed onto the roof of the 3-story apartment building to commit suicide. Police, 112 emergency services, and fire department search and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene. Fire crews set up an air mattress in front of the apartment building.
İnegöl Police Chief Okan Şen and police teams have initiated efforts to persuade the man to come down.
