Breaking News... Iran: No one trusts US diplomacy

The attacks launched by the US and Israel against Iran continue on their 26th day.

It has been claimed that the US administration has conveyed a 15-point peace plan to Tehran via Pakistan in an effort to end the ongoing conflict with Iran. According to diplomatic sources, while the Trump administration is seeking a way out of the economic effects of the war, it is alleged that the prepared proposal covers Iran's ballistic missile and nuclear activities as well as strategic maritime passages.

While the claim in question maintains its place on the agenda, a new statement has come from Iran.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei emphasized that the war has affected the economy, but that the responsibility for this lies with the US and Israel.

Baghaei's statement is as follows:

"The impact and consequences on the world economy stem directly from the reckless and illegal war that the US and Israel have imposed on Iran and the entire region.

I understand that the world economy is affected, but this is not our fault. You are concerned with oil and food prices; we are concerned with the lives of our citizens. We have had very disastrous experiences regarding diplomacy with the US. While we were conducting negotiations to resolve the nuclear issue, we were attacked twice within 9 months. This was a betrayal of diplomacy. That is why no one trusts US diplomacy."
