World-renowned comic book artist and cartoonist, 62-year-old Jon Medwick, ended his life by jumping from the window of his 15th-floor apartment, despite his partner's efforts to stop him.
Eyewitnesses stated that Medwick's partner tried to hold onto him before he fell.
Police and medical teams arriving at the scene confirmed that Medwick had lost his life.
Medwick had been living in the building for more than a decade and was described by his neighbors as "very kind" and "sociable."
Police stated that there is no suspicion of foul play in Medwick's suicide. It was noted that Medwick had been receiving psychological treatment for a long time.
