Stating that Germany condemns this aggressive act by Russia in the strongest possible terms, Merz emphasized that it was a positive development that Poland, together with its NATO allies, was able to detect and neutralize this threat in a timely manner.
Merz added, "NATO is ready to defend itself and will remain ready."
