Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi’s sharp response to Netanyahu: If you want to try again, go ahead

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reacted sharply on his social media account to statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding Iran.

Araghchi argued that Netanyahu is escalating tensions to serve his own political and legal situation. The Iranian minister stated, "To avoid going to prison, Netanyahu is dragging the US into a new war, ignoring the consequences it could have for Israel and the US President."

Claiming that Iran has emerged stronger from previous attacks, Araghchi issued a defiant message to Israel. In his statement, Araghchi said, "Do you want to try your luck again? Go ahead, try it. But be careful; we also have unfinished business."

According to a report by The Times of Israel, Netanyahu had mentioned the goal of "toppling the Iranian regime" in a security doctrine he announced, claiming that the elections to be held on October 27 are of "existential importance."

It was also reported that Netanyahu argued that the Iranian economy is steadily worsening and that this situation could increase public pressure and trigger new protests. The Israeli Prime Minister had stated, "Our plan is a very comprehensive and determined plan to ensure the collapse of the regime. This is the instruction I have given to all security institutions."
