Baghaei stated that in recent days, messages had been conveyed through certain countries regarding a US request for negotiations to end the war, adding, "These messages were responded to appropriately in line with the country's fundamental principles."
"Harsh response to attacks on infrastructure"
Referring to the response provided by Iran, Baghaei said, "In these responses, the necessary warnings were issued that any attack on Iran's vital infrastructure would have severe consequences, and it was emphasized that any attempt against Iran's energy infrastructure would be met with a decisive, swift, and effective response by the Iranian Armed Forces."
"No negotiations held with the US"
Baghaei also reiterated that no meetings or negotiations have been held with the US during the 24-day war process, noting that there has been no change in Iran's position regarding the Strait of Hormuz and the conditions for ending the war.
