Israel targets oil storage facility in Tehran: Explosions and fires follow one another

Missile attacks that began in the evening hours caused numerous explosions, as Israel targeted oil facilities in the south of Tehran. Flames rose into the sky following the strikes that targeted 30 oil facilities.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that the Israeli Air Force had launched a new wave of airstrikes against targets belonging to the Iranian regime in Tehran.

The statement noted that this was the second wave of attacks carried out during the day.

Israeli officials announced that the Israeli Air Force conducted airstrikes targeting Iranian oil infrastructure in Tehran.

It is noted that these attacks mark the first time Iran's national energy infrastructure has been targeted since the start of the war.

In Israel's previous operations, mostly military facilities, missile infrastructure, and security targets had been struck.

The oil storage facility in Tehran was hit in the attacks carried out by Israel.

RETALIATORY ATTACK FROM IRAN

The public relations unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that a missile and drone attack had been launched against targets belonging to the US and Israel.

The statement indicated that targets in Haifa were struck with new solid-fuel missiles called "Kheibar Shekan." The Iranian side claimed that these missiles are capable of guided flight to their targets.

In a statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), it was noted that the attack was a retaliation. The statement said, "In response to the targeting of the Tehran Oil Refinery, an attack was carried out on Israel's Haifa Oil Refinery with Kheibar Shekan missiles."

During the Iranian attacks, sirens sounded in the north of the country, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv.

Israeli officials announced that some regions were targeted by missiles launched by Iran.
