The statement, shared by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson Effie Defrin on the social media platform X, was also announced to the public via the IDF's Turkish-language account.
The statement pointed out that numerous rumors have been circulating regarding the situation in Iran and Israel's position during this process, stating, "As previously mentioned, the IDF is prepared for defense and remains on high alert against surprise scenarios should the need arise. The protests in Iran are an internal matter for Iran."

The statement emphasized that the Israeli army continues to closely monitor developments in Iran and conducts regular assessments, noting that the public will be informed in the event of any potential change in stance. The statement continued, "We will provide updates if there is any change in our position. I would like to emphasize: Do not give credence to rumors."
