Israeli Ministry of Health: Injured Palestinians in hospitals could be executed

As Israel continues its attacks, a statement has come from the Ministry of Health.

A report in the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper noted that at least three members of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, are being treated in the same wards as Israelis wounded in the clashes at Israeli hospitals.

Citing senior hospital officials, the report stated that hospital administrators were forced to accept the wounded Palestinians because they "had no other choice."

The report stated that Ministry of Health officials called for the transfer of the wounded Palestinians, whom "security agencies want to interrogate," to a closed military facility.

"THEY COULD BE EXECUTED"

The report noted that the Israeli Ministry of Health is concerned that the wounded Palestinians could be executed by Israeli citizens and has instructed hospital administrations to prepare for this, adding that the ministry has asked security personnel at these hospitals to be prepared for incidents that could escalate to extrajudicial killings.

According to the report, an unnamed hospital official said they were informed that the wounded Palestinians were being evacuated to be treated in Israeli hospitals, and that they also received reports that citizens intended to incite incidents that could reach the point of extrajudicial execution.

ISRAEL-PALESTINE CONFLICT

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, launched a comprehensive attack on Israel on the morning of October 7, dubbed "Al-Aqsa Flood."

While thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza toward Israel, Palestinian armed groups raided and seized the Beit Hanoun-Erez Border Crossing on the Gaza-Israel border.

The armed groups then entered settlements inside Israel from there, and the Israeli army launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets. It was reported that 1,200 Israelis lost their lives in the attacks launched from Gaza.

DEATH TOLL RISING

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 1,100 people have lost their lives and 5,339 people have been injured in Gaza due to Israeli attacks.

In the occupied West Bank, it was reported that 24 people lost their lives and approximately 130 people were injured in attacks by Israeli soldiers. Additionally, Israeli police killed 2 Palestinians in incidents that broke out in the Silwan neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem.
