Israeli National Security Minister Ben-Gvir: Attack on Iran was a preliminary preparation
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir stated that the overnight attack on Iran was a "preliminary preparation," adding that the next step should be to "target strategic assets."
In his statement, Ben-Gvir noted that "the call to target Iran's strategic assets is his own view, and he will continue to express this on other platforms as well."
Ben-Gvir also remarked that "Israel has a historic responsibility to eliminate the Iranian threat that threatens to destroy Israel."
ISRAEL'S ATTACK ON IRAN
Israel announced that it had carried out an attack on military targets in Iran as a "retaliation" for Iran's missile attacks on October 1.
Iran announced that some military points in Tehran and the western provinces of Khuzestan and Ilam were targeted, and that air defense systems "successfully" countered the attacks, though "limited damage" occurred in some locations.
Israel announced that the operation was completed "successfully."
