Message of strategic partnership from Iran to China: Bilateral relations will deepen after the war
Iran's Ambassador to China, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, stated that China stood by Iran during the war process and that the Tehran administration would not forget Beijing's support, adding, "After the war, bilateral relations between Beijing and Tehran will become more comprehensive, deeper, and more multidimensional."
As relations between Iran and China return to the agenda in the shadow of the war process and regional tensions, a notable statement regarding the future of ties with Beijing has come from the Tehran administration.
Iran's Ambassador to China, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, shared his assessments regarding the relations between Iran and China in a post on his social media account. Describing China as Iran's "strategic partner and close friend," Fazli stated, "The Chinese have been friends of Iran during its difficult days. They rushed to our aid in difficult conditions and stood by our people. We will not forget the friends of our difficult days."
Fazli stated that relations between Iran and China would be moved to a more advanced level in the post-war period, saying, "After the war, bilateral relations between Beijing and Tehran will become more comprehensive, deeper, and more multidimensional."
Strategic rapprochement on the Iran-China line
Relations between Iran and China have recently come to the fore, especially due to the war process and regional tensions. During the meeting held by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing recently, the strategic cooperation between the two countries and regional developments were discussed. During the meeting, the Chinese side criticized the attacks on Iran and called for a ceasefire and a diplomatic solution.
While the Tehran administration sends messages of strengthening its relations with countries such as China and Russia against the pressure and naval blockade attempts led by the US, Iranian officials have frequently expressed recently that economic and political cooperation with Beijing will be further increased.
