New move from Israel: Demand for sanctions on Iran
Israeli Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lior Haiat has demanded that counter-sanctions be imposed on Iran due to its aerial attack, in a post on his social media account.
Israeli Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lior Haiat stated in a post on the X social media platform that, in addition to Iran's aerial attack last night, "additional attacks were also carried out against Israel by militias in Iraq, the Houthis in Yemen, and Hezbollah in Lebanon."
Arguing that Iran must not possess nuclear weapons, Haiat stated, "Iran must pay the price for its aggression."
Haiat further argued that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps should be recognized as a "terrorist organization" and demanded that "painful sanctions" be imposed on Iran, including in the missile sector.
