The meeting took place at the parliament building and was closed to the press. During the meeting, Özel was accompanied by CHP Secretary General Selin Sayek Böke, Deputy Chairman responsible for Foreign Affairs İlhan Uzgel, Eskişehir Deputy Jale Nur Süllü, former Deputy Secretary General Şule Erten Bucak, and former Deputy Chairwoman Gülseren Onanç.
