Secret US intelligence report on Iran revealed: It will not be able to topple the regime

A secret report prepared by the National Intelligence Council has reportedly revealed that even larger-scale attacks against Iran are unlikely to topple the country's established military and religious leadership.

The report, which was reportedly completed about a week before the attacks on Iran by the US and Israel began on February 28, evaluated possible scenarios following both narrow strikes against the Iranian leadership and broader attacks involving government institutions.

UNLIKELY THAT THE OPPOSITION WILL TAKE CONTROL OF THE COUNTRY

Individuals familiar with the report's findings stated that the current intelligence concludes that in either case, Iran's religious and military institutions would respond by following protocols designed to maintain the continuity of power, including in the event of the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Sources speaking about the classified report suggested that it is "unlikely" that the fragmented opposition in Iran would be able to take control of the country as a result of US and Israeli attacks.

The US National Intelligence Council consists of experienced analysts who coordinate high-level analysis and produce estimates in Washington, representing the collective wisdom of 18 intelligence agencies, and reports directly to the Director of National Intelligence.
