Significant move from the US on Israel: We have halted the shipment

As Israel's attacks on the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip continue, the US has halted a shipment of munitions to Israel.

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated, "We have been very clear from the beginning that Israel shouldn't launch a major attack on Rafah without accounting for and protecting the civilians in that battlespace.

And again, as we have assessed the situation, we have paused one shipment of high-payload munitions.

We have not made a final decision on how to proceed with that shipment,” he said.
