Veto to ceasefire in Israeli cabinet
Far-right minister Ben-Gvir announced that they will oppose the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
Ministers in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's security cabinet gathered at the prime minister's office in Jerusalem this morning to discuss the agreement reached for the release of hostages and the initiation of a ceasefire in Gaza.
MAJORITY APPROVAL EXPECTED
The entire cabinet convened to vote on the agreement. While the deal, which would officially initiate the ceasefire, is expected to be approved by a majority, vetoes against the ceasefire in question have also emerged from within the cabinet.
