Visa application platform has changed! Mandatory registration introduced for all applicants
A digital transformation has begun for those wishing to obtain a U.S. visa. As of May 30, 2025, all visa applications will be processed through the new system at ustraveldocs.com. The Embassy has warned users of the old system to register on the new platform as well.
In an announcement made by the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, it was reported that as of May 30, 2025, the transition to the new visa appointment platform at ustraveldocs.com has been completed. The statement included the following:
"Starting May 30, 2025, we are transitioning to a new visa appointment scheduling platform called ustraveldocs.com. This platform will provide better access to: Visa application information, appointment scheduling and changes, fee payments, and document delivery services."
REGISTRATION MANDATORY FOR THE NEW SYSTEM
The Embassy also issued warnings regarding the new system:
"Those with new system registration: Create a profile at ustraveldocs.com at least 2 days before your visa interview.
Old system users: If you previously used ais.usvisa-info.com, follow the instructions for existing users on the new platform.
Those with appointments for May 30 and later: All applicants, including those who have already made payments and scheduled appointments, are required to register on the new platform."
The new system aims to make the application process more accessible and organized.
