Devlet Bahçeli’s codes and ‘If you buy it!’

Don't leave your news choices to an algorithm - decide for yourself what you read. Add 12punto to your preferred sources!

I just heard about it, but apparently there is a singer named Oğuz Yılmaz. This fellow was quite famous, too. His most important work was a song titled “Yersen!” (If you buy it!)...

The lyrics to this nightclub song go exactly like this:

“People call me broke, did you believe it, you crazy girl?

My wealth is hidden, let me tell you, write it down, you crazy girl.

I have 2 factories, 16 villas, 25 cars

I have... What do you want? If you buy it!

I have ships, if you buy it.

I have companies, if you buy it.

I have, have, have, have, have, have, have, have...

Plenty, plenty, plenty, plenty...

If you talk about money...

I have trillions, if you buy it.

I have dollars, if you buy it.

I have euros, if you buy it.

Ohhh, oh, oh, oh, oh...

Plenty, plenty, plenty, plenty...

Of course, if you buy it... Did you write it down?

I am very rich, look, write this in your mind first...

The World Bank asked me for a loan just a moment ago!”

Find it on YouTube and listen to it...

And don't forget to raise your arms and dance; after all, it's almost time to lose it!

Now let's get to our topic:

***

Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç visited MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli this Monday. A “numerical calendar” reflected in the photos and camera recordings taken during this visit became a hot topic.

Because the calendar was paused on the date of “December 17-25,” when corruption allegations regarding the AKP exploded...

Neither the high cost of living, nor financial hardship, nor domestic disputes...

With the sharing of this image, the marketplace was thrown into chaos.

Everyone who knows how to read the agenda even a little bit and knows Devlet Bahçeli began to say that the MHP leader was sending a message to the AKP and Erdoğan: “Get your act together... Or else I will throw you to the wolves.”

Because the same Bahçeli had previously sent a coded message to the government with a file in his hand and a ring on his finger inscribed with “Allah is enough for me”!

***

Bahçeli does this all the time.

Instead of coming out and stating his grievances openly and ruining his relations with the government, he sends “coded” messages.

He has started doing this code business so often that The Da Vinci Code pales in comparison.

But the guy is cunning...

As soon as the coded message reaches its destination, he plays “naive.”

He did it again. Yesterday, he released a statement explaining that he kept those days on the calendar fixed “to make a reference to the strength of the People's Alliance” and that opposition hypocrites were distorting this.

Of course; just like in the song:

“If you buy it!”

He both delivered the message and did not break the partnership.

Thus, he also gave the AKP a sigh of relief.

***

Don't be fooled by his trembling voice or the fact that he can barely stand; I claim that Devlet Bey is the most cunning leader in the history of Turkish politics...

He stumbles over his words, he makes one gaffe after another, but he has some kind of charm that keeps his party united as if it were “glued with superglue.”

Just when everyone says “He’s finished, he’s done,” he gets his party a good result in every election he enters.

While all other parties have turned into a mess, not a single dissenting voice has come out of the great MHP for years.

Everyone fears him like a rookie soldier fears his commander.

Of course; Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his party too...

Devlet Bey wants an amnesty to be issued for the release of crime syndicate leader Alaattin Çakıcı; Tayyip Bey does what is necessary.

He says, “Get that person into that position, remove this person from that position”; his requests are implemented exactly.

And he clings tightly to his partnership with the AKP so as not to lose this “prestige” and power.

When he sees a “loosening” in the ruling party, he sends a new coded message and gets results instantly.

***

And then he accuses the opposition politicians and writers who try to solve the code he gave of “being hypocritical and trying to break the People's Alliance”...

I am sure he is humming the song I mentioned to himself:

I have trillions, if you buy it.

I have dollars, if you buy it.

I have euros, if you buy it.

Ohhh, oh, oh, oh, oh...

Plenty, plenty, plenty, plenty...

Of course, if you buy it...
