Meat cake prepared for International Tiger Day
A meat cake was prepared for the two Bengal tigers living at the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Wildlife Park in honor of International Tiger Day.
According to a statement from the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, an event was organized for the Bengal tigers at the Wildlife Park.
The meat cake, prepared by their caretakers, was presented to the tigers.
Antalya Wildlife Park Branch Manager and Veterinarian Dr. Aygül Arsun stated that special care is provided to the two tigers.
Reminding that July 29 is celebrated annually as International Tiger Day to raise awareness about tiger conservation, Arsun noted that they also celebrate the day with various activities.
Stating that tigers are facing the danger of extinction due to shrinking habitats, Arsun also noted that they will hold informative events for children at the park throughout the week.
