While the commission established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) continues its work within the new reconciliation process called a Terror-Free Turkey, the terrorist organization PKK announced that it is withdrawing from Turkey.

Following this announcement by the terrorist organization, a series of statements came from the government front.

After AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik and Chief Advisor to the President Oktay Saral, Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç also made a statement regarding the issue.

Minister Tunç, in a post on his X account, noted that they would evaluate the steps that 'need' to be taken in the commission, stating, "The findings and decisions of the commission will guide our future steps and create a strong roadmap for strengthening our national unity and brotherhood."

The full text of Tunç's statement is as follows:

"With the full coordination and harmony of our state institutions, the determination of our beloved nation, and the foundation of justice provided by the rule of law, we are closer than ever to our ideal of a 'Terror-Free Turkey.'

In the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission established within the TBMM, we will share the work we have carried out as the Ministry of Justice during this process with our deputies this week and evaluate the steps that need to be taken to strengthen social integration.

The findings and decisions of the commission will guide our future steps and create a strong roadmap for strengthening our national unity and brotherhood.

Our purpose, our stance, and our determination are clear. Our goal is to further strengthen our internal front and remove the dagger plunged into the unity and solidarity of our beloved nation.

The peace and security of our nation and the development of our country are always our priority.

Turkey, freed from the shackles of terror, will spend its energy on development and investment; the path to economic growth and social welfare will be opened, and our country will march toward a more prosperous future in every field.

A Turkey without terror will increase its effectiveness and power not only on its own soil but also in its region and the world.

Evil circles that do not want our country's future to be brighter than it is today will never be given an opportunity. 

Let no one have any doubt that the legacy of our beloved martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our country will always be protected, and the steps that need to be taken in the interest of our beloved nation will be taken with determination.

Under the strong leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we will accelerate the construction process of the Century of Turkey, and by inevitably reaching our ideal of a Terror-Free Turkey, we will entrust a more peaceful and secure country to our future generations."
