Kıvanç and Beril Talu couple arrested
Social media influencer Kıvanç Talu and his wife Beril Talu, who were alleged to have committed a multi-million lira fraud and fled abroad, have been arrested by the court and sent to prison. The details leading to the couple's arrest have emerged. It was stated that 7 people filed complaints against the Talu couple, alleging they were defrauded of approximately 6 million lira.

It had been alleged that social media influencer Kıvanç Talu and his wife Beril Talu had committed a fraud of approximately 150 million lira and fled abroad.
The details of the incident that led to the arrest of the Talu couple have emerged.
CAUGHT AT THE AIRPORT
Kıvanç Talu and his wife Beril Talu, who arrived at Atatürk Airport from Georgia yesterday afternoon, were taken into custody by teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Fraud Bureau.
After the procedures, the couple was referred to the Anatolian Courthouse and sent to prison.

7 PEOPLE FILED COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEM
It was revealed that 7 different people had filed complaints against the couple, who were arrested for "qualified fraud."
In their complaints, it was alleged that Kıvanç Talu and his wife told them they were social media influencers working in the advertising sector and promised that they would earn money if they invested in the advertising agencies they worked for.
It was alleged that the Talu couple defrauded 7 different complainants by taking approximately 6 million TL from them.
