PHONE CALL FROM THE MINISTRY TO THE FAMILY: WE SAW THE CASE ON TELEVISION

While 12punto's news regarding the abuse became a major topic on the country's agenda, another new development occurred. An official from the Ministry of Family and Social Services called the family's lawyer to get information about the case and stated that they saw the case on television.

The family wants the relevant city's bar association and the ministry to intervene in the case.

Speaking to 12punto, M.İ.'s father Y.İ. stated that he had knocked on the ministry's door many times before and called out to the relevant institutions.

"I WROTE A PETITION TO THE MINISTRY MONTHS AGO, I APPLIED TO CİMER"

The father underlined that he had also applied to CİMER many times and stated, "I had also sent an email to the Ministry of Family. No response came. I even sent a petition to the Ministry of Justice months ago, I wrote repeatedly."

The lawyer of the case and the family demand that the case be overturned by the Regional Court of Appeals and that all defendants be tried in a high criminal court.

Editor's note: In the best interest of the child, the names of the child and her family, the details of the location where the crime was committed, and the names of the defendants mentioned in the case have been kept confidential in this news report.
