Amendments to the Regulation on Occupational Health and Safety in Mining Workplaces and the Regulation on the Suspension of Work in Workplaces have made it mandatory for underground coal mines to have backup ventilation fans with independent backup power systems, in addition to the main electrical grid, and for water drainage, personnel transport, and auxiliary ventilation systems to also have backup energy infrastructure.

The Regulation on Insurance Support Services has been amended, introducing requirements for organizations providing 24/7 support services such as roadside assistance and emergency aid, as well as damage consultancy firms, to obtain authorization from the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (SEDDK), possess a minimum equity of 250 million TL, and be established as a joint-stock company in Turkey. Furthermore, it is now prohibited for individuals involved in the management or supervision of insurance companies, agencies, and adjusters to serve in, become partners in, or provide paid external services to these support service companies.

With the amendment to the Communiqué on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Competence Certificates, a requirement has been introduced for partners of institutions issuing competence certificates, members of the board of directors, and technical personnel involved in the EIA process to be members of their respective professional organizations affiliated with the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB). Organizations have been granted a 90-day period to comply with the new regulation.

With the regulatory amendment regarding Wind and Solar Energy Facilities, all bureaucratic procedures for wind and solar energy facilities, from zoning plan approval to operating permits, have been centralized under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. The phased zoning plan approval process in the previous regulation has been abolished, and a procedure for the simultaneous execution of master and implementation zoning plan processes has been adopted. It has been added to the legislation that if relevant institutions do not respond within 30 days to applications from wind/solar energy facilities and do not extend this period, it will be considered as tacit approval.

An amendment to the Regulation on Special Hygiene Rules for Food of Animal Origin has made it mandatory for slaughterhouses to install an open camera system for the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to monitor live animals and employees.

With the amendment to the Main Regulation of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB), the requirement to be a general assembly delegate in order to be a candidate for positions in TMMOB bodies has been removed.
